|Tim Haslett’s consulting work involves building computer-based simulations that help managers to develop company strategy into successful operations. His theory base is drawn from Complex Adaptive Systems theory, System Dynamics modelling, Systems Thinking and Action Research. His work has been published in a number of prestigious journals and he has presented regularly at international conferences in both Europe and the United States.
During his 25 years in the Department of Management at Monash University, he taught Strategic Management and Systems Theory as well as supervising PhD students working in the Action Research Cohorts. Throughout his time at Monash, he balanced his academic teaching and research with a very strong consulting practice to ensure that his work in the University was continually informed by real-world experience.
